Marly Beyer currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. She works primarily in narrative ceramics and large watercolor drawings. She is influenced by years of restaurant work, complex relational experiences and their lasting aftermath, myths, truths, dreams, songs, hotdogs, baseball, velvet, the waters of Oregon, the hills of California, the distance and many worlds between Los Angeles and Baxter Springs, KS, Weird American lore, the Fine Art film, Roadhouse, and more.
